Product Details

Deglon 2.75” hand ground carbon steel sheep’s foot paring knife made in Thiers France. Knives have a 1/2 tang with one piece pinned European walnut handle. Most of the these have their original sticker. It is difficult to date these as this maker is still in business and many times packaging did not change for many years. That said it is not unreasonable to see these falling into 1950’s to 70’s production.

The handles on these are old style natural tannin dyed wood, expect some of this to come off on your hand first few times you use them. The tannin dye was made from galls on oak trees.

2 3/4” Blade 6 5/8” overall
