Our Chatelaines are cast here in our shop in lead-free pewter, and are finished by hand. The chatelaine clips onto the waist of your petticoat or apron and has 5 chains 6" long with lanyard clips to keep things securely attached. Measures 3-1/2" wide and about 1-3/4" high.

Chatelaines were worn to keep handy important items such as keys, watches, magnifying glasses and sewing supplies (scissors, beeswax, charms and thimbles). Townsend Made.
